Where to start

texture, marks and open pores

The things you feel with your fingertips before you see them.

Texture is the concern people are most often embarrassed to mention, and the one Pelin hears most calmly. Old marks, unevenness, pores that seem to have decided to stay: none of it is unusual, and none of it needs an apology.

Skin texture changes slowly and for many reasons, so the first job is to understand which of those reasons belong to you.

what Pelin looks at first

  • Which areas concern you most, and how long they have been that way.

  • Your skin type, sensitivity and anything that has flared it in the past.

  • What you are hoping for, and what would count as better for you.

what this page will not tell you

No page can promise smoother skin, and this one will not try. How texture responds varies from person to person, and some plans are measured in months rather than visits.

questions

Does microneedling hurt?
Comfort is discussed openly at your consultation, and you set the limit on the day. The journal has a plain account of what an appointment involves, from consultation to aftercare.
How many sessions will I need?
That is decided with you at the consultation, and revisited as you go. Nothing is sold as a course on the day you first walk in.
