MASSAGE
how to prepare for your first face fitness session
10 August 2026 · 3 min read
The honest answer is that there is very little to prepare. Face Fitness is an hour of firm, careful massage by hand, and hands do not need you to do much beforehand. But a few small things make the hour better, and people ask, so here they are.
the night before
Sleep if you can. Not because the massage needs it, but because you will enjoy it more. Drink water the way you would on any ordinary day. There is no special routine, no product to stop, no diet to follow.
on the morning
- Come as you are. Makeup comes off at the start of the hour, so there is no need to arrive bare-faced unless you prefer to.
- Eat lightly beforehand. Firm work around the jaw is easier on a stomach that is not full.
- Wear something you can relax in. You stay dressed; only the face, neck and shoulders are worked on.
- Leave the rest of the hour after your appointment unplanned if you can. Most people walk home slower than they arrived.
what to tell Pelin
The first 15 minutes are a conversation, and the useful part is the honest part. Where you hold tension. What your days look like. Whether you clench at night.
If you have had a skin treatment in the last few days, have an active breakout or a cold sore, say so beforehand; the hour may be postponed rather than cut short, and that is the right call.
what you do not need
A treatment name. A plan. A reason. People sometimes apologise for not knowing what they want from the hour; you do not need to know. The conversation at the start is where that gets worked out, together.
Everything else about the hour itself is on the Face Fitness massage page, and the fuller before-and-after guidance lives on prep and aftercare.
Ready for the hour? It begins, like everything at Pelin Saray, with a short conversation.
